The main goal of the DivLand project is to create and develop a research centre for landscape and biodiversity. Its task is to create the documentation for strategic decision-making about the future of the Czech landscape and nature in the context of climate change.<\/p>\n

DivLand's main content<\/h2>\n

Understanding the current development of nature and landscape, evaluating current trends in changing ecosystems or revealing the spatial distribution of biodiversity and threatening factors - these are the main research tasks that the DivLand project focuses on. As a part of their work, individual teams will design monitoring systems, prepare sets of evaluation indicators and analyze existing and newly created databases of Czech landscape, its ecosystems and biodiversity. The project will culminate in a proposal for strategic measures to be taken for sustainable landscape management, ecosystem management and biodiversity protection in the context of climate change.<\/p>\n

Komplexn\u00ed hodnocen\u00ed stavu a dynamiky krajiny, jej\u00edch ekosyst\u00e9m\u016f a na n\u011b v\u00e1zan\u00e9 biodiverzity se st\u00e1v\u00e1 sou\u010d\u00e1st\u00ed n\u00e1rodn\u00edch syst\u00e9m\u016f sledov\u00e1n\u00ed p\u0159\u00edrody a krajiny (nap\u0159. UK National Ecosystem Assessment). Z\u00e1rove\u0148 se rozv\u00edj\u00ed interdisciplin\u00e1rn\u00ed propojov\u00e1n\u00ed d\u00edl\u010d\u00edch anal\u00fdz a v\u00fdsledk\u016f z jednotliv\u00fdch oborov\u00fdch studi\u00ed s c\u00edlem dos\u00e1hnout co nejv\u00edce ucelen\u00e9 p\u0159edstavy o fungov\u00e1n\u00ed a vz\u00e1jemn\u00fdch vazb\u00e1ch proces\u016f, kter\u00e9 formuj\u00ed sou\u010dasn\u00fd stav krajiny a p\u0159\u00edrody. V \u010cesk\u00e9 republice v\u0161ak a\u017e na n\u011bkolik v\u00fdjimek (nap\u0159. Czech Terra) dosud nebyl nastaven takto komplexn\u00ed syst\u00e9m, kter\u00fd by na hierarchick\u00e9 prostorov\u00e9 \u0161k\u00e1le sledoval a hodnotil aktu\u00e1ln\u00ed ot\u00e1zky fungov\u00e1n\u00ed krajiny na celorepublikov\u00e9 \u00farovni, transformace a degradace kl\u00ed\u010dov\u00fdch ekosyst\u00e9m\u016f (lesn\u00ed ekosyst\u00e9my, agrosyst\u00e9my) a\u017e po specifick\u00e9 fenom\u00e9ny jak\u00fdm jsou biologick\u00e9 invaze.<\/p>\n

P\u0159edkl\u00e1dan\u00fd projekt si proto klade ambice na z\u00e1klad\u011b d\u00edl\u010d\u00edch anal\u00fdz rozd\u011blen\u00fdch do p\u011bti tematick\u00fdch pracovn\u00edch skupin (working groups, WG: A. Resilientn\u00ed krajina, B. Lesn\u00ed ekosyst\u00e9my, C. Agrosyst\u00e9my a p\u016fda, D. Invaze a E. Funk\u010dn\u00ed biodiverzita) koncentrovat kl\u00ed\u010dov\u00e1 zji\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed a prov\u00e9st robustn\u00ed synt\u00e9zu provazuj\u00edc\u00ed navz\u00e1jem v\u0161echny podstatn\u00e9 v\u00fdstupy. \u0158e\u0161en\u00ed projektu po\u010d\u00edt\u00e1 jednak s vyu\u017eit\u00edm st\u00e1vaj\u00edc\u00edch datab\u00e1z\u00ed a metod, ale p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm bude rozv\u00edjet nov\u00e9 p\u0159\u00edstupy sledov\u00e1n\u00ed a hodnocen\u00ed stavu krajiny, ekosyst\u00e9m\u016f a biodiverzity pomoc\u00ed inovativn\u00edch postup\u016f d\u00e1lkov\u00e9ho pr\u016fzkumu Zem\u011b, monitoringu s vyu\u017eit\u00edm bezpilotn\u00edch l\u00e9taj\u00edc\u00edch prost\u0159edk\u016f (UAV), laserov\u00e9ho skenov\u00e1n\u00ed, dendrochronologick\u00fdch metod nebo prediktivn\u00edho modelov\u00e1n\u00ed.<\/p>\n

Sou\u010dasn\u011b projekt c\u00edl\u00ed na vytvo\u0159en\u00ed metadatov\u00e9 infrastruktury, kter\u00e1 by umo\u017e\u0148ovala efektivn\u00ed sd\u00edlen\u00ed a vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1n\u00ed dat v oblasti ochrany p\u0159\u00edrody a krajiny a z\u00e1rove\u0148 generovala datab\u00e1ze p\u0159\u00edmo vyu\u017eiteln\u00e9 jak pro praktick\u00e9 ochran\u00e1\u0159sk\u00e9 \u010dinnosti, tak pro strategick\u00e9 pl\u00e1nov\u00e1n\u00ed a politick\u00e9 rozhodov\u00e1n\u00ed v ot\u00e1zk\u00e1ch managementu krajiny, ekosyst\u00e9m\u016f i biodiverzity.<\/p>\n

V\u00fdznamn\u00fdm \u00fakolem p\u0159edkl\u00e1dan\u00e9ho projektu proto bude interpretace nabyt\u00fdch znalost\u00ed tak\u00e9 pro stakeholdery, zapojen\u00ed \u0161irok\u00e9 ve\u0159ejnosti do sb\u011bru a jej\u00ed zp\u011btn\u00e9 informov\u00e1n\u00ed o v\u00fdsledc\u00edch, a kone\u010dn\u011b celkov\u00e9 zaji\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed transferu znalost\u00ed do p\u0159\u00edslu\u0161n\u00fdch ochran\u00e1\u0159sk\u00fdch a managementov\u00fdch aplikac\u00ed.<\/p>\n

Project goals<\/h2>\n

The main goal of the DivLand project is to create and develop a research centre, which will generate outputs useful for both strategic decision-making in the field of nature conservation, landscape and biodiversity and for solving ongoing problems in landscape and its ecosystems. The centre aims to form new monitoring systems and create an integrated system of evaluation of phenomena and processes defining the current shape of the landscape, ecosystems and related biodiversity. This wide range of topics is divided into five working groups.<\/p>\n

Hlavn\u00edm c\u00edlem projektu je vytvo\u0159en\u00ed v\u00fdzkumn\u00e9ho centra, kter\u00e9 bude generovat v\u00fdstupy vyu\u017eiteln\u00e9 jak pro strategick\u00e9 pl\u00e1nov\u00e1n\u00ed v oblasti ochrany p\u0159\u00edrody, krajiny a biodiverzity, tak pro \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed aktu\u00e1ln\u00edch probl\u00e9m\u016f, kter\u00e9 se v krajin\u011b a jej\u00edch ekosyst\u00e9mech objevuj\u00ed.<\/p>\n

P\u0159edm\u011btem z\u00e1jmu v\u00fdzkumn\u00e9ho centra jsou krajina, specifick\u00e9 typy ekosyst\u00e9m\u016f (lesn\u00ed ekosyst\u00e9my, agroekosyst\u00e9my) a biodiverzita, v\u010detn\u011b fenom\u00e9nu biologick\u00fdch invaz\u00ed. Centrum si klade za c\u00edl formulovat nov\u00e9 syst\u00e9my monitoringu a vytvo\u0159it prov\u00e1zan\u00fd syst\u00e9m hodnocen\u00ed jev\u016f a proces\u016f definuj\u00edc\u00edch sou\u010dasnou podobu krajiny, ekosyst\u00e9m\u016f a na n\u011b nav\u00e1zan\u00e9 biodiverzity.<\/p>\n

Konkr\u00e9tn\u00edmi c\u00edli projektu jsou: (i) v\u00fdvoj a etablov\u00e1n\u00ed standardizovan\u00e9ho monitoringu krajiny na \u00farovni \u010cR, (ii) vyhodnocen\u00ed dynamiky lesn\u00edch ekosyst\u00e9m\u016f a agrosyst\u00e9m\u016f v kontextu zm\u011bny klimatu, v\u010detn\u011b m\u00edry jejich degradace, (iii) n\u00e1vrh komplexn\u00edho hodnocen\u00ed stavu a zm\u011bn biodiverzity a identifikace v\u00fdznamn\u00fdch faktor\u016f jej\u00edho ohro\u017een\u00ed, s d\u016frazem na problematiku biologick\u00fdch invaz\u00ed, (iv) rozvoj n\u00e1stroj\u016f komplexn\u00edho monitoringu, vytvo\u0159en\u00ed metodick\u00fdch podklad\u016f pro strategick\u00e9 rozhodov\u00e1n\u00ed a n\u00e1vrh managementov\u00fdch opat\u0159en\u00ed ke zm\u00edrn\u011bn\u00ed dopad\u016f zm\u011bny klimatu na krajinu a ekosyst\u00e9my v podm\u00ednk\u00e1ch \u010cR.<\/p>\n

N\u00e1strojem k napln\u011bn\u00ed t\u011bchto c\u00edl\u016f bude sd\u00edlen\u00ed informac\u00ed a dat, jejich synt\u00e9za a spole\u010dn\u00e1 interpretace v r\u00e1mci \u0161irok\u00e9ho multioborov\u00e9ho t\u00fdmu. Ve\u0161ker\u00e9 v\u00fdstupy v\u00fdzkumn\u00e9ho centra budou prezentov\u00e1ny na webov\u00fdch str\u00e1nk\u00e1ch, v r\u00e1mci tematick\u00fdch workshop\u016f a konferenc\u00ed tak, aby bylo zaji\u0161t\u011bno co mo\u017en\u00e1 nej\u0161ir\u0161\u00ed vyu\u017eit\u00ed v\u00fdsledk\u016f v r\u00e1mci dot\u010den\u00fdch subjekt\u016f (M\u017dP, MZe, MMR, org\u00e1n\u016f ochrany p\u0159\u00edrody ad.).<\/p>\n
